WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- The Winnipeg Jets added goaltender Mark Holden to their roster Wednesday and announced left wing Brian Mullen would rejoin the team after missing close to a month because of a knee injury.

A club spokesman said the Jets officially recalled Holden Wednesday from the American Hockey League Nova Scotia Oilers although the goalie had been practicing with the Jets since Jan. 7.

Holden, 27, had played well in Halifax recently and caught General Manager John Ferguson's attention, the spokesmam said. Holden allowed 62 goals in 770 minutes of play for a 4.79 goals-against-average in Halifax.

The Jets, who acquired Holden in a trade which sent goalie Doug Soetaert to Montreal, have rotated goaltenders Marc Behrend and Brian Hayward this season.

Mullen, missed 25 days after injuring his left knee in a road game against the Los Angeles Kings.
