Wrexham miss out on Stowell
Wrexham have lost out to Bristol City in their bid to sign Wolves keeper Mike Stowell.
The 36-year-old trained with Wrexham on Tuesday but decided to sign for the Robins in a two-year deal - subject to a medical. Stowell played nearly 400 games for Wolves in an 11-year career before he was released. Bristol City chairman John Laycock told the club's official website: "Mike is keen to get involved on the coaching side so there is a dual purpose in signing him. "We are delighted that he has agreed to join us," he added. |
