Watch Ben Affleck Try to Smuggle Matt Damon into Jimmy Kimmel’s Oscar Special

Affleck wore his longtime friend strapped to his body in this Oscar-night prank.

Though they have plenty of awards-season hardware between them, neither Ben Affleck nor Matt Damon went home with an Oscar this year. But that didn’t stop the Jimmy Kimmel Live staples from starring in Kimmel’s 11th Oscar-night special. You Kimmelologists out there may remember that Damon is jokingly persona non grata on the show ever since Kimmel’s then-girlfriend, Sarah Silverman, debuted her 2008 prank video “I’m Fucking Matt Damon.” There’s been a lot of back and forth since then—including an episode where Damon took over hosting the show—but if you predicted it would all come to a head with Affleck wearing Damon in a man-size BabyBjörn under a giant coat then, well, you’re amazing. Give yourself a prize.

Though the video ends with Damon being forcibly ejected from the set, that wasn’t the last we’d see of the 2016 nominee. Damon makes a surprising and perfect cameo at the end of this Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice sketch where—with the help of Affleck and his co-stars Jesse Eisenberg and Henry Cavill—Kimmel succeeds in injecting a little levity into the grim and dark comic-book world Zack Snyder built.
