I’m Tammy Strobel.

I’m a writer, photographer, and cat lover.

Here’s a longer, more official sounding, bio:

Tammy Strobel is an experienced writer, photographer, teacher, and grant writer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from California State University, Chico, a Masters in Public Administration from California State University, Chico, and a Masters of Arts in Education from California State University, Sacramento.

Tammy worked at various non-profits that provided essential programs and services to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. During her time in the violence prevention field, Tammy was a Peer Counselor, Public Affairs Coordinator, and Research Associate.

Tammy is also a published author. Her books include:

Tammy’s creative work focuses on social connection, positive psychology, and the cultural perspective of meaning.

Currently, Tammy works with the Media Arts Center San Diego, a non-profit that provides “new media tools and channels to create equitable and engaged communities where underserved voices are heard.”

Tammy spends her free time taking photos, cycling, and hanging out with friends and family. She lives in northern California with her husband and cat.
