AJUNTAMENT DE CANET DE MAR

Canet de Mar offers a wide variety of shopping both in goods and prices.
The commercial centre is in the old town, particularly in the two main axes, the Riera Buscarons and the Riera Gavarra. There are other newer zones too, such as the Plaça Onze de Setembre and Can Salat Busquets. Another key place is the town market at the top of the Riera Buscarons. The market, built in 1932, mainly sells fresh food, with stalls of fruit and vegetables, meat and fish. The weekly street market is held on Wednesdays with clothing, shoes, bags, kitchen utensil, spices and many other stalls in the streets around the market place.

Also, you can buy vitralls (sweet cake) created by bakers in honor Lluís Domènech i Montaner and strawberry Maresme, seasonal fruit and grown in the same region.
