I had recently heard about curved tweezers for removing blackheads and decided to give them a try as my skin was breaking out presumably due to clogged pores or something. These particular tweezers had many positive reviews and appeared to be pretty good quality for the price. I have since realized that I do not have that many blackheads to remove, but they work really well for clogged pores and the occasional cystic appearing pimples/whiteheads/comedones that need draining. I always clean it with an alcohol swab before and after and it works great because it can remove all of the debris from my pores/pimples without piercing the skin and causing pain. The tweezers hold up well and are very easy to grip and handle.

Don't squeeze, use to push surrounding area!

These tweezers are great. I find that using them to squeeze isn't as effective as just making them very narrow and pushing both sides around a clogged pore at the same time. The precision leaves little redness. As I'm getting older I notice my skin doesn't heal nearly as quickly as it did 10 years ago. I'm only 35, but in Los Angeles having people tell me I look 7-8 years younger often, without having work done, is important if you want to remain 'seen' lol. I've also used them to get out deep blackheads from my partners lower back by the spine. Works wonders.

review update: originally I gave this one star due to the photos below. However seller sent me a new item which was not defective and does the job. Not amazingly as seen in videos and online but I don't have awful blackheads to be able to tell too much of a difference. It does help get some out though, overall decent product.

Work Well, Not the Best For Sensitive Skin

I steamed open my pores and was able to successfully use these on multiple blackheads however I have extremely sensitive skin and all the pinching and contact make my skin very inflamed. No fault of the product, just my pesky skin issues. I'll continue to use on stubborn blackheads but probably won't use them a ton for that purpose since my skin reacted so poorly to all the contact. They are working out pretty good for me though just using it on stray eyebrow hairs. The curved shape actually makes it pretty great to hook around stragglers and pluck one vs accidentally pulling out several at once so still turned out to be a decent purchase for me. One improvement I would suggest would be to make the handle shorted. When extracting I had to get really close to the mirror and the long handle only allows me to get so close.

Can I just start by saying O.M.G!!!!!!!

When I first open the package, the packing threw me off a little. If I’m being honest, it looked a bit cheap. Immediately I judged! In my head, I was wondering how would this little hook thingy is going to pull out all these stubborn black heads? It looks so flimsy and weak. But then I said to my self to just try it out and save the packing incase I need to return.

But one try and my jaw dropped! I literally screamed OMG OMG!!! My husband came running in asking what happened. I showed him how much black head I pulled in one try and he was amazed. I said “let me try it on you” and he said “no it looks painful” (5’11” man who scares of pain). I said just let me do it once and you’ll see. He let me tried it and he was was like “wow that didn’t hurt at all” and I said this is 100 times less painful than those Biore strips. We are now hooked on this and I’m out of blackheads to pull... I am definitely recommending this to everyone!!!!!

The only negative feedback I have is the packaging. This maxing tool deserving a much better packaging than the one it cake with. This tool works like it’s something that cost $50, while the packaging makes it looks like it cost about $5.

Also, not sure if it will raised the cost or not, but if the body of the tweezer can be in glossy and comes in a couple colors like red, blue or yellow or silver/gold...then you’ll be golden!!!!

This product is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this becomes a huge success!

Amazon shows a fine quality stainless steel product in the photos, the item I received looks like something I'd buy from Dollar store...really poor quality. Doesn't seem like stainless, meaning I have no idea what metal alloy they used, it has a pewter color to the tips, for all I know there could be lead in it, so wouldn't put this anywhere near my face. Very uneven tips and each tip is a different width and not refined at all. The tips are crooked, meaning they don't line up properly, so it would be impossible to successfully extract blackheads, splinters or any other per detailed item out with this. The photos on this site show tips that come to a fine point, but the point on the one I received are slightly blunt and rough looking. Ive included photos to show how uneven and jagged the tips are, these are NOT something you want anywhere near your face.
