Best investment For Struggling Pores

I am SO happy I bought this device. Honest to gosh I have had acne and/or struggled with my pores my whole life. I have tried everything that I possibly could at home with all the research and following of skincare gurus online but nothing was giving me that edge to take my skincare to the next level. LET ME TELL YOU, if you want extra help clearing your pores because washing and exfoliating and chemical BHAs and whatnot and serums just can’t get you past a certain point and you still struggle with the look of pores and size, seriously GET THIS. GET THIS. Period. It is relatively easy to use, it’s a sturdy and less expensive extraction device that you would get with treatment at a salon. It really has taken my skin and the size of my pores to the next level, even my boyfriend noticed after about 2 weeks of using it every 4 days. He says he’s noticed sizeable changes in my problem areas around my nose and chin and T zone. I don’t have terrible acne, not even moderate or mild, but my pores just always have trouble getting completely clean. This helps tremendously. I honestly love this device so much. Only thing I would say is, even if you have oily zones or oily skin or if you have sensitive skin, it WILL leave what looks like track/drag marks with the first few times you use it but over time your skin will get used to it and they will become less and less visible and prominent until they don’t happen. Also don’t become overzealous/excited when you first use it and become addicted because you will start to notice days later that your skin barrier will become dryer and possibly get flaky skin if you use it too often cuz you’re sucking all the oil out too often. Your face needs oil but it doesn’t need to be removed everyday. Please space out your sessions. Also HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend a facial steamer treatment before using it because you will notice a huge difference in how easily the stuff in the pores is extracted compared to when you don’t do one. If you need a recommended steamer, pure clean facial steamer (looks like a circle with a sunflowerish design in the center). The suction is 3 levels of suction customizable to your preference (recommended low for the first few times). Also, 6 different suction devices to put on the camera, you will find one that you prefer to use all the time. That’s it, that’s the review. I wish you all the best with using this product. Works as advertised. The app and the instructions on how to setup the app are very poor, almost wrong instructions. There is no support and that's why I subtracted a star. But, once you figure out how to connect it is works as advertised. Now, the camera magnification is too big (too close) so while you may think this is good it is in fact somewhat useless. After the initial use of the camera I stopped using the camera and now I just have a "path" a routine I use it for and it does the job very well. Also, trying to use the camera makes you hold still in a spot for too long thinking you can get a stubborn head out, that would be a mistake. You need to keep moving it. Like others have mentioned, Do Not keep the suction in a place too long you will regret it, but the bruise from the suction goes away quickly.

I bought this again after breaking the good tips that came with the first one I bought and trying several other identical designs, but under different brand names and a few different designs and styles as well. I broke all of them and they also all had lag issues aside from this brand making them really difficult to use. I use an android phone so that may not be an issue for the iPhone owners out there. In total I've had 8 of these vacuum camera things. This one was the first one I had ever bought and it turned out to be the best functionally after going through so many of these. So despite the concerns I had with app I decided to just get this again. They use a new app now and it's much better than the original one and a little less fishy, but I'm still a bit paranoid about it. The battery life also seems to be better so I think they started using different batteries. I'm pretty happy with the improvements they made. I still have reservations about apps and I really wish someone would make one of these that has it's own screen instead of having to connect to a phone. I have an otoscope like that for cleaning my ears and I think that is the way these things should be made. The probe end of the otoscope just plugs in to the screen that came with it so no app is necessary and the crappy, fishy, laggy apps wouldn't be a concern at all and the battery life can be longer since there's more room to put something bigger in there. Check out the Anykit or ScopeAround Otoscope Ear Camera with 4.5" IPS Screen to see what I mean. Having a vacuum tool like this that can just plug into the screen like the otoscope would be fantastic.

Cons: The app asks for strange permissions and even tries to connect you to a VPN for some reason. The shape and button placement is annoying. Maybe some people like taking a bunch of pictures and videos of gunk getting sucked out of their face, but not me and the button gets pushed a lot by accident because of it's placement. I had go through and deleted a bunch of gross pictures and videos frequently. Also the power can get turned off by accident because of the button placement as well. The video can lag sometimes whish is also annoying. If it's on and you plug it in to charge it while using it it will shut down. The last issue is the thing just broke.

So yeah, this thing is Chinese crap that's probably stealing info. The permissions it asks for, the trying to connect to a VPN, and the low price paints a fishy picture. These things should really be wired not wirelessly connected and have barebone apps that don't ask for a bunch of permissions.

I want a new one ( different brand), but I'm now very paranoid of security issues since owning this one. Each brand has it's own app so who is checking them all for security risks? No one..

Okay so I know this isn’t it’s intended use, but I used this today to remove a little crumb of glass that I had gotten in my foot. It was so small that I couldn’t grab it with tweezers or see the end of it, but then I realized I had this machine that might help! It helped me see the end of the glass, and figure out which direction to try to get it out. Eventually I sucked it right out! I’m freaking ecstatic at the possibility of being able to use this to remove splinters and things in the future.
