Since 1993, he has been a cornerstone of Orlando’s radio scene, helming the beloved "Monsters in the Morning" show. His work has not only garnered local fame but has also reached a global audience through platforms like iHeartRadio and YouTube's Real Radio Monsters, winning multiple accolades from The Orlando Weekly. Consistently named one of the nation's most influential talk show hosts by "Talkers Magazine" for over two decades, his voice resonates widely.
Beyond his radio success, Russ has ventured into music, releasing the album "Hold My Beer," which has enjoyed thousands of downloads worldwide. His creative endeavors also include graphic novels, professional wrestling, songwriting, and drumming for the “Monsters Band.” His entrepreneurial spirit shines through his "RRR Blended Whiskey" and impactful community initiatives like the “Kicks for Guns” program, which has removed over 10,000 guns from local streets.
A proud Edgewater High alum, Russ was a standout athlete, serving as a captain of the football team and wrestling team along with earning the title of 1983 Edgewater High School Athlete of the Year. His ongoing commitment to philanthropy, coupled with his passion for live talk radio, underscores a career that is not only distinguished but deeply connected to his community.
