We believe there’s a sport or physical activity for every person with Parkinson’s

The world is excitedly anticipating the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics this summer – not to mention the UEFA Euro 2024 football tournament, nail-biting tennis from Wimbledon and the French Open, and much more.

But closer to home, the European Parkinson’s sporting community is thriving.

Exercise is a crucial way of managing your Parkinson’s symptoms – and we want to spread the word that you don’t have to be an Olympian to take part.

There are Parkinson’s sports groups covering everything from yoga, pilates and Tai Chi, to surfing, rock-climbing and ping pong.

So throughout the summer, we’re breaking down the barriers to exercising with Parkinson’s, giving you the tools to get started with a physical activity that suits you, and telling inspirational stories from the European Parkinson’s sporting community.
