Hazardous fire at Nutrien Ag Plant in Sunnyside

SUNNYSIDE -- Just in: According to the Yakima County Fire District #5, a commercial building is on fire in Sunnyside.

Authorities say the fire is located at the Nutrien Ag Solutions Plant on the 1100 Block Midvale Road, in Sunnyside.

The fire is considered to be hazardous with 200 tons of sulfur on fire, and the building now fully involved in flames.

Fire officials say smoldering sulfur is mixing in with the smoke and can become extremely dangerous.
