Isuzu is implementing a "Food Drive" initiative in which employees donate food that is nearing its expiration date to local charity organizations and facilities through Second Harvest Japan, a certified NPO. This not only reduces food loss but also improves social welfare. In February of this year, we donated food that we had stockpiled in-house as well. いすゞは、賞味期限が近づいた⾷品や⾷材を従業員が家庭から持ち寄り、認定NPO法⼈セカンドハーベスト・ジャパンを通じて地域の福祉団体や施設に寄付を⾏う、「フードドライブ」の取り組みを展開し、⾷品ロスを削減するとともに、社会福祉の向上にもつなげています。 この活動はいすゞ社内で年に3回実施しており、およそ200kgの⾷品や⾷材を寄付しています。 今年の2月にも社内で備蓄している食品や食材を持ち寄り、これだけの量を寄付することが出来ました。 #いすゞ #ISUZU #isuzugram #Fooddrive #寄贈 #CSR #社会貢献 #社会貢献活動

Today, April 22nd is #EarthDay! 2023 marks the 11th year of Isuzu's tree-planting activity in Thailand, the Happiness Green Earth Project. Additionally, since 2022, we will have been part of the Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Program established by the Thai government to receive carbon credit certification. This activity helps us towards our goal of carbon neutrality and increases employee awareness around environmental conservation and biodiversity. On April 16, Isuzu Group held the Innovation Day 2024 event in Tokyo. The event, the second of its kind since its inception last year, was attended by change ambassadors from various departments and Isuzu executives to lead the group's transformation towards our new Purpose of "Moving the World – for You". The agenda consisted of speeches by Isuzu executives, panel discussions and a guest speaker. Participants also interacted with each other in group workshops and breakout sessions, as well as deepened their understanding of the "Core Values" defined by ISUZU ID. In order to solve various social issues and become No. 1 in customer satisfaction, sustainability, employee engagement, and social impact, each of us will make the I Do Declaration with a sense of ownership and change our daily actions to lead future change. On April 16, Isuzu Group Leadership Summit (IGLS) 2024, the first event of its kind for the Isuzu Group, was held in Tokyo. The event was part of the Group’s initiatives to transform the organization and position itself to meet the needs of customers and society in the future. The Isuzu Group leadership team, consisting of domestic and overseas affiliates, explored new leadership strategies through group work, not being afraid to break from past conventions. In addition, a special guest was invited to discuss leadership and its role in innovation. Participants also delved into the workings of ISUZU ID, ISUZU Transformation (IX) mid-term business plan, and HR system reforms.
