Former British Prime Minister, Baroness Thatcher, and the Falkland Islands Representative in Britain, Sukie Cameron, attended a short, private service in St Paul’s Cathedral yesterday to mark the 25th anniversary of the start of the Falklands War.
During the service, Baroness Thatcher laid a wreath of yellow and white roses, lilies and orchids at the foot of the Falklands Memorial in the Crypt of St Paul's in honour of the 255 members of the British Task Force who died in the 74-day conflict. The service was led by Canon Lucy Winkett.
