Saab Denies South African Bribe Claim

STOCKHOLM—Swedish defense and aerospace company Saab AB on Friday denied making any direct payments to a South African government adviser to help finalize the sale of Gripen jet fighters in the early 2000s, as reported by Swedish news channel TV4 earlier this week.

Saab Chief Executive Hakan Buskhe said there was no evidence of any wrongdoing from Saab, although he couldn't guarantee that no payments were made by any of the other...
