I always enjoy watching consistency over many years. A Foreign Policy of Freedom helped me to see how Ron Paul was always on the correct side for decades.

A really good collection of interviews with Ron Paul. They cover a wide range of topics including foreign policy, economics, the federal reserve and Ron Paul's presidential run. Reading this book reminds me why so many people were inspired by Ron Paul in 2008 and 2012 and why he is still one of the most important voices for liberty and peace.

I love Ron Paul almost as much as Scott Horton does. I enjoyed being able to read through these interviews and see just how consistently principled Dr. Paul is and has always been. Plus it's a great reminder of how long the US foreign policy has been in shambles.

It’s Ron Paul. It’s Scott Horton. Two minds we should be thankful exist right now.

Long before notable liberals like Bill Maher, Matt Taibbi, Glenn Greenwald and Russell Brand took the Democrats to the woodshed for a deserved whipping, Ron Paul and PJ O'Rourke were doing the same thing to "RINOs" (Republicans In Name Only). O'Rourke's gone now, and Ron Paul is 86, so we need all of the good doctor's wisdom saved for posterity.

Whether it's explaining how interventionist foreign policy sows the seeds of "blowback", illustrating how monetary policy is the single most important economic subject to understand (which is why it's seldom taught), or garnering applause at a South Carolina GOP Presidential Primary debate by advocating for the legalization of most controlled substances, in this essential compilation, Dr. Paul presents a consistent philosophy that proves to "conservatives" and "progressives" alike that personal freedoms and economic freedoms are two sides of the same coin - neither exists without the other.

Oh and just for the record, the given name of his son the Senator from Kentucky is "Randall" - he wasn't named in honor of Ayn Rand!

The Scott Horton interviews will be a treasure for future generations on the wisdom of a man who was ahead of his time. Some day, they will look back and wonder how this generation could have overlooked the humble leadership of Dr. Paul.
