Located in the heart of the Sierra Madre. These cabins are perfect for a weekend away from the city. Lost in the thick and wonderful forest of the Chihuahua mountains, the 5 cabins of Wooden Inn invite their guests to enjoy and disconnect from the routine on 7 meters above the ground in the forest. our cabins with dry toilets and showers include amenities and combine a strong chestnut wood exterior cladding with a cozy larch wood interior. Our cabins invite you to have breakfast in the sun on your balcony and to dine in the interior privacy at nightfall. Between both moments, enjoy the surrounding landscape and the tourist attractions of the Sierra Tarahumara.

Neighborhood info

Creel, also known as Estación Creel due to its relationship with the railroad, is located in the heart of the Sierra Madre Occidental. Until the sixties, the train that we know today as Chihuahua-Pacific ended its route in this Magical Town, the only one in Chihuahua. Besides being a picturesque town whose architecture reminds us of the far west, Creel is an excellent starting point to get to know the Sierra Tarahumara, travel in El Chepe and venture through the Copper Canyon. Although it can be easily reached by car from Chihuahua, passing through the extensive plains of the Cuauhtémoc apple-growing area and the dense forests of the sierra, the best way to start the trip is by the roads. Taking the train you can enjoy hundreds of curves, bridges and tunnels through which the railway passes, making this route a fascinating spectacle. On the main street of Creel you can find several handicraft shops in the typical mansions with gabled roofs and an eaves in front. A few steps from the train station is the Museum of Tarahumara Culture.
