It just feels like every paragraph is pure gold honestly, sometimes it took me 20 minutes to make it through one page because of the realizations that I was having, and I needed to take time to scribble my notes into the margins. There is nothing in this book that doesn't absolutely need to be there, so you can be sure that it is worth your time and you won't be reading any filler material whatsoever. This will change your perspective on life, and if you actually do the things that are here, you change yourself. I honestly saw a change in how happy I was by doing the things that James Allen said. This is basically scripture to me now.
The only complaint that I have isn't about the book, it's more about me, because I wish that I was better at doing the things outlined in this book because I know that it would help me out a ton. So that is the next goal, make sure that I am doing the things here.
Especially with this global generation of "weak-minded" millennials this book is a "must-read" for this generation.
Let me start with how I found this book. I dare say this book found me at the most needed time. I just lost my life purpose and willpower to go on. Then I stumbled upon this book by accident. I was reading a financial book one day and the writer just mentioned Coach Lou Stoltz's famous Goal List story in one chapter. The title of the book that inspired him to write goal list it's in fact "The magic of Thinking Big by david j. schwartz". But it's beyond my comprehension why I remembered it "As A Man Think" (with no 'eth') and I remembered vividly that the name of the author is "JAMES ALLEN". Even though I never heard of this book and this author before. With the wrong name and wrong author in mind I googled the author and so surprised that he wrote it more than a hundred years ago from the inspiration of Buddhism that he studied. So I bought the kindle of 0.99 US.
That 0.99 US is the best money I spent in my entire life!
The book has not so many pages but every word resonates to my soul tremendously. Sometimes I even cried while reading it because of all wisdom James Allen laid out in front of me. His book taught a lot about how to control the willpower and thrive even in the worst circumstances. No blame, no complain, no escape. No one and nothing can destroy me but the way I think and behave. ."As a man thinketh he becomes", I just found out it's his original writing that have become the mantra of Law of Attraction Gurus around the world.
But if you think this book is all about training your mind, you are totally wrong. The book taught us the way of humanity. We were born to be a decent human being with the higher purpose in life also. This, is the heart of the book, not only mind training. James Allen taught us to be responsible for our actions and our thought. "I and I alone" must have moral compass, integrity, faith and willpower, no one else. It's like reading the "sacred" way of the Samurai, the warriors, the prophets.
Please read it and it will change your mind, your life, your soul and your soul path forever. You'll never regret it.

Well written and thought provoking. You can see Mr Allen has put a lot of thought and time into this work.
Mind can be your greatest tool and Mr Allen has some wise words on this in “As a Man Thinketh”.
Thank you Mr Allen
