Excellent Book!!! Change Your Mind Change Your Life, Added Key to meditation.

Excellent Book!!! Change Your Mind Change Your Life, Added Key to meditation.
As A Man Thinketh is a great book if you wish to change your ways of thinking and come to the realization that your thoughts govern and produce results within your life (law of attraction/manifestation). I would say that this is a book you would read if you're into meditation. The reason I say that is because being open-minded while reading this book is key to getting the most out of this book. Every word, sentence and paragraph resonated with me and ultimately helped me to understand that I am responsible for my own life and how my thoughts respond to circumstances. What is key to benefitting from this book is to ingrain this philosophy into your daily life so that no matter what events unfold you know that this information is true. For some people, they may be able to read this book and get this message saved within their brains the first time. But if you're analytical like I was... you'll need to practice and literally read this over and over until this knowledge becomes second nature. Yes it's common sense that A person's thoughts inevitably create their life, we just need to find a way to direct and control our thoughts or feelings within our subconscious. What has helped for me is meditation. You would listen to guided meditation and then after you've calmed your mind read this book, then meditate again. When you first meditate it's to clear your mind, when you meditate a second time after reading As A Man Thinketh, it's to integrate this knowledge within your psyche so that you meditate on these truths and they become a part of you. This book is enlightening and it's key that it becomes a part of our subconscious so that we can gradually benefit over and over from it. I highly recommend this book.

There is not much to this book in size, but the size of the information is Huge!! How he packed so much into such a small space, I do not know, but it is easy to carry around and the wealth and useful guidance is so valuable. Still useful for current life.

This is easily one of the best books that I have read. It isn't long, but it is packed with more information than you can wrap your head around. I have read it 4 times since I got it 3 months ago, and I am working on it again. I loved this book so much that when I was in the middle of the second chapter, I got back on Amazon and ordered another 2 copies of it. Then when I finished it I went to order 3 more but I couldn't because they were still sold out from the time that I ordered the other 2. So I had to wait for them to print more, then I did order 3 more, so I have 6 copies now and I don't regret it at all.

It just feels like every paragraph is pure gold honestly, sometimes it took me 20 minutes to make it through one page because of the realizations that I was having, and I needed to take time to scribble my notes into the margins. There is nothing in this book that doesn't absolutely need to be there, so you can be sure that it is worth your time and you won't be reading any filler material whatsoever. This will change your perspective on life, and if you actually do the things that are here, you change yourself. I honestly saw a change in how happy I was by doing the things that James Allen said. This is basically scripture to me now.

The only complaint that I have isn't about the book, it's more about me, because I wish that I was better at doing the things outlined in this book because I know that it would help me out a ton. So that is the next goal, make sure that I am doing the things here.

This book will make you grow and also internal growth immensely, I guarantee you. If you are lost in life direction, caught up in so many dramas in life, going through loss and grief, feeling depressed or trapped, feeling empty inside with the void that cannot be filled or even being unhealthy for a long time, please read this book.

Especially with this global generation of "weak-minded" millennials this book is a "must-read" for this generation.

Let me start with how I found this book. I dare say this book found me at the most needed time. I just lost my life purpose and willpower to go on. Then I stumbled upon this book by accident. I was reading a financial book one day and the writer just mentioned Coach Lou Stoltz's famous Goal List story in one chapter. The title of the book that inspired him to write goal list it's in fact "The magic of Thinking Big by david j. schwartz". But it's beyond my comprehension why I remembered it "As A Man Think" (with no 'eth') and I remembered vividly that the name of the author is "JAMES ALLEN". Even though I never heard of this book and this author before. With the wrong name and wrong author in mind I googled the author and so surprised that he wrote it more than a hundred years ago from the inspiration of Buddhism that he studied. So I bought the kindle of 0.99 US.

That 0.99 US is the best money I spent in my entire life!

The book has not so many pages but every word resonates to my soul tremendously. Sometimes I even cried while reading it because of all wisdom James Allen laid out in front of me. His book taught a lot about how to control the willpower and thrive even in the worst circumstances. No blame, no complain, no escape. No one and nothing can destroy me but the way I think and behave. ."As a man thinketh he becomes", I just found out it's his original writing that have become the mantra of Law of Attraction Gurus around the world.

But if you think this book is all about training your mind, you are totally wrong. The book taught us the way of humanity. We were born to be a decent human being with the higher purpose in life also. This, is the heart of the book, not only mind training. James Allen taught us to be responsible for our actions and our thought. "I and I alone" must have moral compass, integrity, faith and willpower, no one else. It's like reading the "sacred" way of the Samurai, the warriors, the prophets.

Please read it and it will change your mind, your life, your soul and your soul path forever. You'll never regret it.

This is a short book with regards to the number of pages it has but not with the ideas, thoughts and concepts it contains.

Well written and thought provoking. You can see Mr Allen has put a lot of thought and time into this work.

Mind can be your greatest tool and Mr Allen has some wise words on this in “As a Man Thinketh”.

Thank you Mr Allen
