An ex-soldier of the British Army. Joined as a volunteer in the early sixties just as conscription ended and the last postings of the era were coming to an end. This author was involved in the adventures and the incidents outlined in this biography. From the beginning of his service in the British Army it would seem he wasn’t cut out for a military life, but he wasn’t the only one with a ‘record’ who managed to eventually reach a higher rank, there was plenty of competition from others, believe me! In those days…it WAS different, we were young, naïve and very stupid at times….judge for yourself. And enjoy this tale.

I am a student of Ernest Holmes, taking classes through the Centers of Spiritual Living. I ordered the Book Creative Mind and Success as part of my classwork. The book I received, published by Wilder Publications, is the worst editing of a book I have ever seen. The Table of Contents does not reflect the number of pages. There are horrible typos all throughout the book. I searched for the publisher online. There is no website. They seem to function off a P.O. Box and a Yahoo email address.The Table of Contents has page numbers that jump from page 23 to page 295. The last page in the book is page 83. There are typos and misspellings on many pages (see my examples for a couple on the same page).I will notify the Holmes Institute of this issue. If you are a book lover and are searching for quality products from publishers that take book production seriously, I highly recommend you stay away from any books published by Wilder Publications. They are certainly not doing their due diligence.Amazon should refuse to sell any of its products.

There have been dozens of books telling you that your thoughts create your reality and how to use that to your advantage. This is one of the original such books. The major difference is that because Holmes was inspired as one of the original channels through which this very important information came through, I could fell that his words in this book were highly charged with transformational spiritual energy. I'm not talking of some New Age foo-foo idea. And I'm not talking about religiosity (religion, the bureacracy between God and man!). I'm talking about grounded, very real direct spiritual power. What he offers in this book is the real deal. I have known of this stuff for years. And yet when I read this book, I intentionally approached it with "beginner's mind" as if I've never heard of this stuff before. And as good as my life already was going into this book, applying what Holmes writes has boosted my life to a new level of inner fullness. Buy it, read it, apply it every moment and this will transform your life.
