Applications are closed for TribLIVE’s 2023-2024 Scholarship Program

TribLIVE’s Scholarship Program is dedicated to engaging and inspiring the next generation of journalists and young adults pursuing careers in the media industry.

Students currently attending, or planning to attend, a four-year college or university majoring in Journalism, English Writing, Communication, Marketing, Business, Computer Science or Information Technology can apply for one of our scholarship opportunities. Each opportunity includes financial assistance of up to $7500 per year for up to 4 years, an annual internship with Trib Total Media for up to 4 years and an offer for full-time employment upon completion of the program.

 

The Jim Borden Memorial Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students pursuing a career in journalism. This scholarship is dedicated to carrying on the tireless mission of the late Trib Total Media managing editor Jim Borden to inspire young journalists to pursue their work with the same unfailing passion and integrity that Jim displayed each day. Applications are due by January 7, 2024.

 

The Scholarship for Diversity in Media is available to high school seniors and first-year college students interested in a career in journalism who are culturally, ethnically or racially diverse. DEADLINE EXTENDED!! APPLY BY FEBRUARY 29, 2024!

 

The Business, Marketing and Technology Scholarship is open to high school seniors or current college students majoring in business, marketing, computer science or information technology. Applications are due by January 7, 2024.

Point Park University’s Center for Media Innovation Citizen Reporting Academy is a fully online certificate program to help individuals become citizen reporters and take control of their community’s local story. TribLIVE is offering scholarships for the next cohort, scheduled to begin in September 2024. Apply today!
