FLINT (WJRT) - (03/22/16) - The Michigan Masons are helping make a difference for Flint children.
The Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation donated $100,000 to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.
The donation will help with short and long term needs for children affected by the water emergency.
"We're happy for every single gift because it represents a generous person who cares about Flint Kids. But this is a big gift - $100,000 gift from the Masonic Foundation is huge for us and it really helps us take a giant step forward,” said Kathi Horton, president of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.
The fund will meet the needs of children through early childhood education, medical support for families, access to healthy food and much more.
