North Carolina Center for Nonprofits has been hosting policy conversations across the state this spring, and we are pleased to host the Triangle-based event in our office this morning. Topics of conversation have included policy trends and their impact on the nonprofit sector, giving trends, staffing capacity, and regulations around nonprofit advocacy. Ivan Canada and David Heinen, great having you with us!

Congratulations to El Futuro on 20 years of impact nurturing stronger families. The Foundation is a proud sponsor of tomorrow's benefit luncheon and we invite you to learn more about how you can support the cause: https://lnkd.in/eAD7v3qn
20 years ago, Marilu came to El Futuro seeking mental health support for herself and her daughters; today, she is one of our Community Health Workers who work for the well-being of the community, serving families just as she one day received the same support. This Friday, we will celebrate 20 years of El Futuro with MariLu and our supporters at the Annual Luncheon and launch our video that represents our trajectory. Stay tuned!

Please join us in wishing Natalia Siegel congratulations on her recent acceptance to the 21/64 Certified Advisors of Color Advanced Cohort! What an awesome opportunity surrounded by many talented philanthropic leaders. 👏
Please join us in welcoming these amazing leaders and check out our full announcement here: https://lnkd.in/e_QERS-G As 21/64 persists in our commitment to take responsibility for diversifying and evolving the field of philanthropic advising and grantmaking, we are thrilled to grow our efforts by launching a new Advanced cohort experience alongside our existing Approach cohort for the 21/64 Certified Advisors of Color Program. We want to thank all of the applicants for trusting 21/64 with their testimonies through their video submissions and for giving us the opportunity to learn what they wish to accomplish through their advising. We are also immensely grateful for the 21/64 Advisory Committee who worked earnestly to review the video submissions, taking into account the required criteria for the selection process of this program. We look forward to continuing this learning journey together.

We love getting out into the community to hear about and see for ourselves all the great work that is happening to make our region stronger. We hope you’ll check our social channels regularly to see where we are off to and with whom! To kick us off, Stuart Beeson and Carla Abramczyk visited with Haw River Assembly (HRA) this week alongside Elaine Chiosso and Emily Sutton of HRA as well as Foundation donors.
