Skincare fans have been heaping praise on a ‘luxurious’ night cream that ‘lifts and firms’ skin and is now at its lowest ever price on Amazon. The retailer has slashed the price of dozens of high-end products as part of its Premium Beauty Week - including one from Elizabeth Arden.

From Tuesday, April 16 to Monday, April 22, Amazon has reduced shopper-loved products across skincare, fragrance and haircare , with many having up to 35 per cent off. Among them is the Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Night Cream, which retails at £73 on the brand’s own website, but is down to just £45.99 on Amazon.

Looking at the price history checker camelcamelcamel, it’s the cheapest it’s ever been on the site, having last been reduced to £48.47 last June, while it remains full price at Boots.

The ultra-rich and silky firming cream features age-defying technology designed to firm, intensely hydrate and tighten skin thanks to a powerful blend of ceramides, tetrapeptides and edelweiss extract. It’s said to help users achieve visibly lifted, firmer and more defined facial contours in just one week.

I used the product myself last summer and was obsessed with the luxurious formula. Coming in a luxe gold packaging, the 50ml moisturiser is an ultra-rich cream that feels like applying silk to your skin. Fairly fragrance free, the cream glides across the skin and feels immediately hydrating, which is perfect for anyone with drier complexions. My skin felt incredible, looked supple and glowing, and appeared more plump. In fact, it almost looked the same as when I’ve been for a professional facial.

And other skincare enthusiasts have loved it just as much as me, with the high end product receiving over 2,800 five star reviews on the Elizabeth Arden website. One said: “A wonderful, modern product from a great company that has never let me down. Rich consistency, great scent, great pleasure of applying the cream. The skin becomes visibly firmer, smoother and calmer. A wonderful cream for mature skin.”

Another added: “I have been using this night cream over the past few weeks and my skin is definitely looking and feeling much better. It's also helped with the dark and baggy circles under my eyes.”

“I really enjoyed this moisturiser, my skin is firmer, tighter and lifted,” wrote a third, “I recommend it to older ladies, because it really works wonders for the skin.”

With a fourth commenting: “It feels so luxurious to apply. Its silky & light on my face which is perfect at night. I can tell it’s a high quality product. This cream revitalises & firms skin over a few uses with just a small amount. Advanced!”

However, it definitely seems to be a formula targeted to drier skin types, with another adding: “Found it to be too oily for my skin. It had a nice scent to it and a little goes a long way.”

If you’re looking for something more budget-friendly, though, the No7 Future Renew Night Cream comes in at £34.95. It contains a world-first peptide technology.and was one of the retailer’s top-selling products for 2023. Shoppers can get it even cheaper using the code REVERSE10, which will take it down to £24.95.

Alternatively, usually £34, the Olay Regenerist 3 Point Anti-Ageing Firming Serum has been reduced to just £10 as part of the health and beauty retailer’s popular £10 Tuesday offer. It means that for one day only, skincare enthusiasts can save a whopping £24 on the price - or get three bottles for less than the price of one.
