Thousands of children in Flint can now be tested for lead poisoning and other health issues related to the city's water crisis.

A federal judge approved a settlement Thursday meaning the state will pay millions of dollars to give health screenings to kids impacted by the water crisis.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Flint children against Flint schools, Genesee County, and the state.

The just over $4million settlement is only considered a partial victory... as it sets up a way for all Flint kids to be tested.

The lawsuit will continue to try to establish a system for treatment for the children.
