Databricks Reviews
Pros
Leadership (not just the execs, but even directors and managers) are humble even as they set an ambitious vision for the future Work gets busy in spurts, but overall the balance with life outside of work is ideal for me Really smart teammates who all are willing to help I'm not sure there's another company with so many resources (courses, readings, and teammates) to help with career growth. If you want to be surrounded by the best and smartest people in data, and you want to push yourself, Databricks is a great place.
Cons
This space changes so fast it can be hard to keep up with new developments.

Interview
Fairly standard approach. Phone screen with recruiter, then video call with hiring manager. Both I thought went well. During the discussion with hiring manager, they confirmed an interest for an additional meeting. I sent in a standard thank you, and over the next three weeks I checked back to lock down that next meeting. Got no response back and was ghosted. Seems the standard these days, and disappointing as the team could have at least sent a simple email on my candidacy.
