Turns out these brine shrimp really need mid 70s F to hatch well. If the temperatures drop in the winter the hatch rate plumments which I still did not have that issue with my other company.
I ran out of brine shrimp eggs like some other users and decided to try this 90% hatch rate for my fresh water Kili's and Badis'. Both are pretty notorious for only liking live foods. I keep my eggs in the fridge as it is hot here. My previous eggs hatched wonderfully in my hatchery but these... I've waited 36 hours and I can count the amount of eggs that have hatched. Most of the eggs sink after a day which from what I understand is not how these eggs should be until they hatch and shed the shells. My old brand had all the eggs float and my salt level did not change. Temperature is also the same. I am pretty disappointed and worried about my fish since it is now day 3. I will go back to the one that works GSL brine shrimp. Never had this issue with those eggs. I just hope there is enough to eat for them until the GSL gets in. Would definitely not recommend.
