This is an excellent Catholic channel and app. It is in many languages too and has live tv and masses. They even show the masses from the pope in the Vatican. They have many great shows, news, masses, prayer, rosary time, it is one of the best Catholic TV and app channels for people who are Catholic and believe in Jesus Christ and are Christians. It is easy to use and really is wonderful, we used to get EWTN on cable, this is the same and better in many languages for me and my spouse bilinguals. I love they openly pray and speak of Jesus Christ as our savior of the world and our king and guide. The Catholic music and hymns on here are so nice too. I also donate to EWTN for all they do for Catholics and being Prolife. I love that EWTV and Catholics are prolife and are openly against abortion and the death penalty, both forms of murder. The Holy Spirit dwells within EWTN....may her network continue to bring people home to the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic, Church created by Jesus.

The Catholic Church is two thousand years old and has the history which can be traced back to Jesus himself in unbroken succession. Jesus tell us in scripture, that He appointed Peter to be His successor ("on this rock I will build my church") Matthew 16:18 with His apostles. After His death and resurrection and before ascending to heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father. He reappeared to His disciples and breathe the Holy Spirit upon them and told them to go out and proclaim the good news and make disciples of all nations. (John 20: 18-22) Pope Francis is the 266th successor of His Holy Church.

Jesus also tells us in scripture, "the gates of hell will never prevail against her! " (Matthew 16:18-22) She has existed this long and will continue too... long after we are all gone.

The Catholic Church has given us the Holy Bible in the 4th century and the sacred traditions taught by Jesus and carried down from His apostles. Timothy, tells us in scripture about the Church...."she is the pillar and foundation of Truth!" (1Timothy 3:14-15) Most people do not know the Church came way before the Bible.

The early Christian Church Fathers wrote about her in her infancy. She was the only Catholic (means universal) Church that all early Christians attended and belonged to until the 16th century when the Protestant Reformation took place.

The Catholic Church is not one of the new 33,000 reformation church doctrines being taught today. She is old and does not change with the ways of times. She is the original Church created by Jesus and written about in scripture, she is not a doctrine....she is the Church!

I LOVE the EWTN app! The app is an excellent way to connect and learn more about the Catholic Church, the early Christians and her Apostolic faith.

I especially love to stream and listen to their Catholic radio station and also watch " the best of the journey home" tv show. It airs at noon central time. It's a beautiful show about the conversion of heart...wonderful testimonies of people finding their way home to the Catholic Church.

I love EWTN's programming, but don't subscribe to the channel and rarely have time to visit the website. This app makes EWTN (and all of its streaming programs, archived programs, and radio shows) available online. I downloaded this to my Kindle Fire and it was perfect. You do need wi-fi to connect to the programs, but it is nice to be able to listen to Catholic radio or watch Catholic programming without having to sit in one spot. This also has a bible, program schedule and EWTN news section (in addition to the live streams, video on demand, and audio on demand). This has quickly become one of my favorite apps.

Best place to learn all that baby boomers were never taught. I have found that I have to educate myself about the church. I have learned many times more about faith from my own study of the scriptures than 12 years of so called religious instructions. I was never taught anything about the bible. Now I still have to do it alone but EWTN has many resources online to see what the church teaches. Not anything about charismatic catholics though. I am not positive that going to church regularly, and confession and communion regularly is going to insure that one will make it to the third heaven or even purgatory one day. Unless one can say they have a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ then their fate is up in the air. I have found much more information about how God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit does things from the protestant study bibles and commentaries than anything I have read from the few Roman Catholic study bibles. One cannot say that that is the protest spin on the bible, the protestant study bibles came out of Roman Catholic teachings. Yes some protestant churches have different ideas or there would not be thousands of protestant churches. They cannot all be right nor can they all be wrong. I only want to be considered a "worthless or unprofitable servant", one day by my master, Jesus Christ. If I could be called that, then that would mean I have done only what my master asks of me. I only desire to be a humble servant of our triune God.

All day instead of listening to the music I am listening to the homily, the talk shows, speakers, etc instead. It is awesome.
