Bought this for an AR-15, could not be happier the illuminated reticle is strong enough to see in daylight (adjustable from 1 to 12 and night vision). The BDC reticle seems to work pretty good zeroing at 50 yards.
The zoom lever is included and makes changing magnification a breeze. The glass is nice, very clear and with minimum chromatic distortions, keep in mind this isn't a Swarovski o Smith and Bender, and cost just a fraction of those prices.
At 10x the eye relief gets a little tighter so there is that, it is not a problem for me, since that kind of magnification is just need when shooting prone.
All things considered I think it is a great value, very nice scope for a multi purpose rifle.
