The design of these FIB’s are such that the tender can be used solely as a boat or with slight modifications (15 minutes) can be used as a flying tender just by the addition of wings. Also now available the new AM FIB which allows take offs and landings on suitable land surfaces.
Since 1987 more than 1,000 units have been sold around the world (Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, Red Sea, Argentina, Madagascar, USA etc.) Toyota bought 80 FIBS, many units operate from tourist resorts, and are on maxi yachts. The navy seals of Singapore use FIB's for special missions and Greenpace has two FIB's and used them during the French nuclear testing protests.
Supplied as a ready to fly machine which is very easy to learn to fly, within 10 hours you can be more than competent to pilot one of these machines in safety.
