Viz Media has confirmed that they plan on adding JoJo's Bizarre Aventure Part III: Stardust Crusaders to their digital manga offering, and discussed difficulties localizing the series. Stardust Crusaders was previously published by the distributor in print.
Part three, the only of the series' eight parts to be released in English, was previously adapted into two OVA series in 1993 and 2000. The horror/travelogue introduces super powered alter egos called stands, which became a pillar of the franchise going forward. In it, the latest JoJo, Jotaro Kujo, a half Japanese brilliant delinquent, renews the Joestar family deathmatch with vampire villain Dio Brando.
