Bucharest Virtual Museums Tours [Part 1]

Something to do at home given this pandemic crysis…

Bucharest Virtual Museums Tours – the comprehensive list. Without further ado let’s jump right on it as we’re sure you had enough of our silly introductions. Here is a selection of all museums in Bucharest that can offer a virtual experience:

  1. National Museum of Romanian History. Click the name to check our listed version of this museum. The virtual tour website can be found HERE. You will find plenty of stuff to look around for. We mentioned before about the variety of exhibits this place has to offer.
  2. National Museum of Romanian Peasant. Link HERE. However, it might not work on mobile as Flash Player is required. Interesting articles to see or read. Some of the popular clothing patterns are actually making a comeback and have been quite popular lately.
  3. National Village Museum. Website HERE. One of our favourites regardless it’s in real or virtual life. Various exhibits which include handmade rugs with beautiful floral patterns, traditional house arhitecture or some of the clay pots used for those delicious recipes all over the country.
  4. Bucharest National Arts Museum. Link HERE. Same story here with the Flash Player that might cause errors for mobile users. Situated in a beautiful building that hosts several galleries and outstanding exhibits.
  5. Cotroceni National Museum. Website HERE. Highly recommended, the platform is fast loading and fairly simple to navigate. The main building became the presidential residency while the old wing got to host the actual museum you will see.

We hope you will find our list interesting and captivating. At the same time, we hope we’ll find you well for the second part of this article series. To conclude, please share this list and stay tuned for part 2!
