Talk about “musical” chairs! Calum Hood, a member of Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer, has bought a Hollywood Hills home from rock guitarist Richie Kotzen, according to real estate gossip Yolanda.

Hood paid $1.4 million for the 2,150-square-foot traditional home built in 1959. And BTW, there’s some serious star power in this hood: Actor Jared Leto is a neighbor.

The house boasts a remodeled kitchen, upgraded bathrooms, a double-sided fireplace, and a recording studio. There’s also a swimming pool, fire pit, and sports/basketball court. The house is shielded by tall hedges, walls, and gates.

“It’s fully private,” says Alex Lobel, who represented Hood in the sale. Hood, the band’s bassist and vocalist, was “super-friendly and super-efficient” when buying the house, Lobel says.

Kotzen was previously a guitarist with rock bands Poison and Mr. Big. He now has his own solo career in addition to playing with The Winery Dogs, a rock supergroup formed in 2012 alongside Mike Portnoy and Billy Sheehan.

5 Seconds of Summer formed in 2011 and became a YouTube hit. The group opened for One Direction on its worldwide tour in 2013. The band embarked on its own world tour in 2016.
