Step 1: Soak the Filter

After taking out the filter, please soak it into cold tap water for 10 mins to activate it.

Step 2: Clean the Pitcher

Wash a pitcher, a lid and a reservoir with a mild detergent and flush them with water. DO NOT wash them with a dishwasher or an abrasive cleanser.

Step 3: Install and Clean

Firmly press the filter into the reservoir to form a tight seal; discard the first two pitchers of filtered water or use it to water plants.

Step 4: Activate the Indicator

Hold the button for 5 seconds until the blue light flashes to activate the indicator. Monitor the filter status as you pour water out.

The packaging and weight foretold of great quality. The pitcher is beautiful and it's a shame it has to live in the refrigerator. I was worried that the plastic pitcher would be flimsy but not so. The plastic pitcher was made of thick almost glass like material and beautiful. It would make a great gift. Just follow the instructions before it's first use. You have to saturate the filter for 10 minutes in cold tap water and wash the pitcher and retainer tank in mild soap and water. You also have to throw away your first two batches of water before using it for drinking. Easy Peasey instructions. Tap water never tasted so good. Plus it claims to filter out PFOS and PFAS chemicals from tap water. That's why I bought it!!!

I was using a Britta water filter for many years. I'm finding the Waterdrop far superior. Even though NYC has very clean water I still prefer to filter water from the tap. I love the large wood handle and button on top that lets you know when you have to change the filter. The filter drains very quickly and it easily fits into the top shelf of my refrigerator. I measured my shelf before buying to check. There is an opening at the top that makes it extremely easy to fill which I have been doing almost every day. I highly recommend this water filter. The water is clean, pure, free of any chemicals and tastes absolutely delicious.

I like that it's as pretty as the Soma but doesn't dribble water everywhere like the Soma. The wood handle is lovely and easy to hold, but unfinished so will maybe get grimey and I'll have to sand it and/or oil it. The top hatch that opens with pressure from the water is great so you don't have to remove a lid or anything -- they should all have this - but I wish it were a bit more sensitive so that I didn't get any pooling of water on top of the lid. The water tastes great and I really like how quickly it filters, much faster than my previous Brita. I'm small so I can't lift the full pitcher with one hand so I wish this pretty design came in a smaller size but it's really great. Looks great on my counter.

Update: it does dribble a bit when it's all the way full, and the lid wants to fall off when you're pouring the last drop when it's empty. The water flap takes a second to open when you run the faucet into it which is just enough time for water to spill all over the lid. Also, it's just big enough that little old me can't lift it when full with one arm. Easy solutions: I never fill it all the way full, I always use two hands, hold the lid on when pouring the last bit and wipe it down with a kitchen cloth to dry it off every time I fill it. If they made one that is just as pretty but a little bit smaller, with a water flap that's a little more sensitive and a lid that stays in place even at the last-drop angle, I would happily buy it.

Easy to fill, fast to filter and pour

The water system my mother is on seems to have the chlorine level cranked up for some reason, so much so we had to fit filters to her showers so that it wouldn't irritate her skin. She had been buying bottled water for a long time, but I wanted to see if a filtered picture would address the problem. I can report this does solve that problem.

I wanted something that would be easy for her to use, and not require frequent filter changes. This definitely fits the bill. I was impressed enough with it that I decided to purchase one myself, despite already having one of another brand. I've since had to purchase a ZeroWater pitcher for use with my humidifier (because I needed a product to filter dissolved solids), but when using it I sorely miss the design of the Waterdrop Chubby.

Simply being able to place it under the faucet and fill through the flap, rather than pulling off and replacing a lid is how every pitcher should work in my opinion. The Chubby also comes with a little device that apparently counts the number of openings, and uses that to flash an alert when it is time to change the filter. As such, it should be much more accurate than simply changing a filter based on time alone.

The filter in the Chubby is essentially a dual filter, with two small streams emitted into the reservoir. As such, it fills much faster than other pitchers that emit only a single small stream.

It also pours quickly and easily, something that definitely wasn't the case with my first filter picture. My ZeroWater pitcher also does well on that front, but is still bested by the Chubby.

The wood handle seems sturdy and feels good in the hand. I like the no-nonsense straight side design, as opposed to the tapered bottom one will find on many other pictures. A strictly rectangular design might be more efficient in terms of water volume for the footprint occupied, but that would also be more difficult to clean.

The only possible fault I've seen is one that seems to be shared with all pitchers (and certainly the three I've had experience with): The cover for the spout. All of them seem to be the same "I'm going to break some day" design. The plastic of the spout cover on the Chubby's seems to be a bit softer, so I doubt it will literally break, but it already has loosened enough on one side that it usually tilts to one side when open. I don't consider that a big issue, as it still stays out of the way of the stream, and goes back into place when pushed down.

I chose the white with wooden handle. To fill the pitcher you don’t have to remove the lid. It has a water filler on top that is a retractable lid. When the water pressure from your faucet engages the lid it opens to allow the fill. Wonderfully thought out. I use mine to refill my Keurig coffee maker with filtered water. It looks beautiful and clean sitting on the counter top. It is larger and I like that so I don’t have many trips to refill. The materials it made of is sturdy. I highly recommend this for clean water. The price is was reasonable.

Filters last a while and water tastes great. We broke the top lid of our pitcher which was entirely our fault so we contacted customer support for the possibility of getting a replacement part and they actually sent us a completely new set, water pitcher and filter. They didn't have to do that but they did. Would recommend, great quality and price.

J'ai vu plusieurs vidéos est cette carafe ne rajoute rien dans votre eau ni même de l'argent ( anti microbien).
Il élimine plus de 90 métaux et agent .
Il diminue la dureté de l'eau de 75%.
Si vous voulez une dureté minimal prenait la zéro water mais elle a d'autres défaut.
Celle là est classe avec sa poignet en bois et surtt son versement ultra précis contrairement a d'autres qui font splash est vous en mettez partt au moment de servir .
Regardez les comparatifs ( en anglais il y en a plein ) faire votre choix mais pour mon cas , c'est la meilleure

Great jug, the speed at which it fills up is amazing, so much quicker than other brands.
Water tastes good, no rank flavour.
Great size, it will fill up quite a few glasses but possibly too big if you are planning to put it on the fridge.
Would recommend, very happy with it.

Brita kennt jeder, da es aber auf Dauer umständlich und teuer ist alle 4 Wochen einen neuen Filter zu besorgen, suchte ich nach Alternativen und bin auf Waterdrop gekommenen. Bestellung war wie immer Top. Ausgepackt und nach der Einleitung in Betrieb genommen, da einige sich in den Rezensionen wohl über die Qualität am anfang beschwert haben, hab ich es am Anfang öfters durchlaufen lassen. Ich finde die Qualität sehr gut und das Wasser lecker unser Hund bekommt auch dieses Wasser. Jetzt knapp nach 4 Wochen ist es immernoch Top. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
