Our technology leaders attended AWS re:Invent event in Las Vegas which is one of the most transformative events in tech hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) Web Services. Amazon Web Services (AWS) has brought the global cloud community to Las Vegas to meet, get inspired, and rethink what’s possible for 11 years. AWS re:Invent is a learning conference hosted by AWS for over 65,000 members of the global cloud computing community. Hatice Evren attended AWS Conversations with Leaders global podcast which is one of the special parts of this event. She shared her experience and valuable insights about her leadership style. Getir’s acquisition of FreshDirect has been completed.  FreshDirect, the pioneer of premium online grocery in the world, is now part of Getir, the pioneer of ultrafast grocery delivery. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in our company's journey, and we are confident that it will bring new opportunities, expanded capabilities, and enhanced collaboration for Getir and FreshDirect. We are happy to officially welcome our FreshDirect members into the Getir community!

We've done our 1st ChatGPT Hackathon event within the Tech, Data & Product department! The goal was to find ideas how Getir can leverage this amazing technology to revolutionize Getir’s user experience, customer support or internal processes using ChatGPT. 10 selected teams were given mentors on-site to help bring their ideas to life. They had 2 days to do so and present it to the jury! It was an incredible display of creativity, problem-solving, teamwork and we are incredibly proud of all the participants. 👏 🏆 The winning team, “ILF - I’m looking for” impressed us with their project aimed at enhancing Getir’s user experience! 🥈 Congratulations to “GPTeam” and “Drivers” which shared the second place! Looking forward to future events that will continue to inspire creativity, innovation, and teamwork within Getir. 🚀

It was inspiring to connect with hundreds of Amazon Web Services (AWS) enthusiasts, data and technology experts at AWS Amsterdam Summit 2023. We shared insights on how our data warehouse architecture has been evolved as Getir rapidly grows. Using AWS Redshift Data Sharing feature, we created a highly-available, scalable and secure architecture that satisfies our organization's needs. We are honored to share our success story with this great community and we are looking forward to share more experiences with our other use-cases as well.

Congratulations to Vybe team who has received the Marketability Award sponsored by Getir at Bilkent CSFair 2023 event. Our Chief Product Officer Kaan Emec presented the award given to the project with the highest commercialization potential.

Harvard Business School & Getir design thinking case “Delivery in out-door spaces” finalized with the participation of our Customer and Product teams! 💜 In the scope of “Field Global Immersion” studies, Harvard Business School students focused on “Delivery in out-door spaces” case, together with Getir Customer and Product teams. We welcomed HBS students in Getir as the final step of the project. HBS presented the solution proposal using design thinking methodology after an intense week of field trips, customer interviews, relevant team discussions, prototyping solution, and testing with Getir folks. We thank HBS for valuable engagement and contributions to ideation of the case, as well as our Customer and Product teams!
