The team consists of the supervisors of the HVAC, Electric, and Plumbing Shops within the Building Management Division, Office of Facilities and Environmental Quality. Together, Jeremy Cassell, Malik Prescott, and Michael Kirschner lead the efforts to ensure our facility is running in tip-top shape! Often, the work of our colleagues in the Building Management Division goes unnoticed, as it happens behind the scenes. Today, we want to shine a spotlight on their tireless efforts and express our heartfelt appreciation for all that they do! In honor of Public Service Recognition Week, we'd like to spotlight an employee from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Warren Livengood is a Supervisory General Engineer in the Office of Management Resources, Office of Facilities and Property Management. The OFPM is responsible for facility activities and services. This includes space and real property management, facilities planning, building system operation, maintenance and repair, utility distribution services, grounds maintenance, and janitorial services. Warren helps implement and manage various OFPM projects critical to facility safety and compliance. Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the CHIPS Women in Construction Framework, a set of five best practices, as well as the first voluntary commitments to the Framework from Intel Corporation and Micron Technology.
