    VP of Technology and Security

Today’s IT teams are constantly juggling the demands that come with new technology adoption (yes, including AI), as well as ongoing security, compliance, and uptime requirements. As IT leaders, we have to be more vigilant while also moving faster than ever before, and that can be overwhelming. Using Lucid has been a huge help in enabling my teams to work more quickly and accurately, which is a huge win in scaling our operations. I wanted to share this video from my colleague Alan Reeves-Fortney where he shares how our team uses Lucid specifically for postmortems, which are a key part of our team’s processes. We map out exactly what happened and when with Lucid’s timelines feature, and then we use Lucid’s Collaborative AI to summarize all the notes and create an executive summary for our stakeholders. These streamlined visuals make it easy to quickly get everyone on the same page, regardless of their technical background. We can then convert those ideas to tasks within our project management system so my team can hop right in to solving any immediate or long-term issues. Using Lucid offers so much clarity for my team and our stakeholders, and that clarity is critical in making sure our entire company operates efficiently and remains secure. We don’t have to spin our wheels the next time something happens. We have the documentation and visualized process ready to go. You can try hosting your own postmortem in Lucid by starting with one of our templates - I’d love to hear what you think! https://lnkd.in/dmBcv3eG

The office will never go back to how it was before the pandemic. But you know what? That's actually a good thing. #Remote work taught us so much, and now everyone's expectations about where they work have shifted. If you want to make the most out of your #hybrid workplace, you've got to be intentional about how you set it up. That means picking the right tech and deliberately designing the office space. Here are a few tips from Avocor, Post-it, and our own team at Lucid: Tip #1: Take inventory of your technology 🧑💻 Don’t rush into investing in new tech—take inventory of what you currently have. Note whether you have multiple tools doing the same thing—or if there are major gaps that no tool is filling. Are there opportunities to consolidate tools? Tip #2: Design your hybrid office around your needs 🛋️ Tech isn’t enough on its own. Hybrid workplace design decisions should be centered around creating space for different needs—whether that’s quiet focus time, interactive brainstorming space, or anything in between. Tip #3: Promote a culture of continuous feedback 📝 Teams should try out various room setups, meeting approaches, and tech tools, then offer feedback. By staying open to suggestions, you can keep tweaking your office to suit your hybrid setup perfectly. If you’re setting up or optimizing your hybrid office, you’re going to need some actionable strategies and expert advice. Check out Lucid’s full guide on how to set up a hybrid office to learn more (including why you should be prioritizing digital-first collaboration 👀): https://lnkd.in/gx6HgURX
