In the [[Law of the People's Republic of China|People's Republic of China]], the final power to interpret the law is vested in the [[Standing Committee of the National People's Congress]]. This power includes the power to interpret the [[basic law]]s of [[Hong Kong]] and [[Macau]], the constitutional documents of the two [[Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China|special administrative region]]s which are [[common law]] and Portuguese-based legal system jurisdictions respectively.
