Sean O'Hanlon's late equaliser sent MK Dons three points clear at the top of League Two but they must wait to make sure of their promotion.
Leon Johnson set up Scott McGleish to head Wycombe into the lead.
Aaron Wilbraham met Dean Lewington's cross to level for the Dons but McGleish immediately restored Wycombe's lead with a superb 30-yard volley.
Dons kept coming forward and O'Hanlon earned them a point when he headed in Lewington's corner in injury time.
