Motherwell secure shirt deal
Motherwell have won a significant financial boost in the shape of a new shirt sponsorship deal.
The two-year-deal with local DIY chain The Untouchables is reported to be worth in the region of �150,000 to the club. Well were placed into administration at the end of last season and were forced to release 19 players as a result. Administrator Bryan Jackson said: he was delighted to have found a sponsor to fill the void left by the end of a long-standing sponsorship deal with Motorola. The Untouchables chief executive Ron Smith said: "We are very pleased to get involved with a football club that has such a great tradition. "We are a local business and it is good to be able to give something back to the community. "This arrangement will also give our company a tremendous platform but, most importantly, we are delighted to get involved with a family club which Motherwell undoubtedly is." |
