President Al Sisi inaugurated mega development projects in Central Sinai and Ismailia

President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi inaugurated a number of the mega development projects in Central Sinai and Ismailia. This was in the presence of Dr. Ali Abdel Aal - the speaker of the parliament, Dr. Moustafa Madbouli – the Prime Minister, General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, a number of the ministers, the governors of the canal and Sinai cities, Admiral Mohab Mamish - Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Major General Ihab El Far – Chief of Staff of the Engineering Authority for the Armed Forces and Eng. Mohsen Salah – Chairman and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company. Eng. Mohsen declared that the AC implemented the inlets and outlets of the bridge of Martyr Major General Taha Zaki in Sarabioum in Ismailia, the bridge of Martyr Major Ahmed Omar Shabrawy in Al Shat district in Suez. Eng. Mubarak Mansour Mubarak – the Manager of Sinai Branch, which executed the works, added that the work in the bridge of Martyr Major Ahmed Omar Shabrawy started by cutting and lifting more than 120000m of dust with heights varied between 8 to 10m and 45m width. Besides, the implementation and construction of the inlets and outlets of the bridge from the west bank with a length of 200m and width 50m. In addition to the construction of lanes and parking which consists of concrete slabs with 30cm thickness. Besides, the installation of replacing layers with 60cm from gravel and 50cm from sand and notch. In the east bank, the total length of the inlets and outlets is 700m including the parking which constructed from replacing layers with 50cm thickness, foundation layers 60cm thickness and 2 linking asphalt and surface layers. In addition to these, the construction works of curbs, pavements, electricity, lighting, beautification, afforestation and cultivation. Eng. Mubarak added that the branch implemented the inlets and outlets of Major General Taha Zaki in Sarabioum; the works started by the cutting and lifting of more than 300000m of dust with heights varied between 8 to 10m and 35m width. The construction of the inlets and outlets on Suez Canal with a length of 400m on the east bank, 600m in the island and 350m in the east bank of New Suez Canal. Besides, the rehabilitation of a ground layer with 50cm thickness, a foundation layers with 60cm thickness and linking and surface layer. The scope works include all the curbs, pavements, electricity, lighting, beautification, afforestation and cultivation. It is a noteworthy that Sinai branch has a wide spectrum of experience in the implementation of the floating bridges. Previously, it executed the inlets and outlets of Al Nasr Bridge in Port Said, Martyr Ahmed Mansy Bridge in Ismailia and Martyr Abanoub Gerges Bridge in El Qantara; consequently the total number of the executed floating bridges on Suez Canal reached 5 bridges.
