Another Rick At Millwall
Millwall 1-0 CITY

Match Review & Ratings By Bristol Boy

Sometimes it’s best to reflect on a game before writing a review. Taking into account all the circumstances and weighing things up in the cold light of day. Having done that, I don’t feel any different from when I eventually walked out of the New Den after this disappointing - hugely disappointing, defeat.

Enoch Puts City In Sight Of Eden
Carlisle United 1-3 CITY

Match Review & Ratings By Robins72

Yesterday was what football dreams are made of, travelling the length and breadth of the country to watch your team put in a second half performance worthy of champions. Okay, so we are unlikely to finish first in League 1 this season, but the fans players and management of Bristol City all believe that we are now fully capable of achieving promotion next Saturday at Millwall.

PROUD FATHERS ALL FIRING BLANKS

Gillingham 1 - 0 CITY

This has been coming for weeks. You can’t go on keeping clean sheets week in, week out and we came away from the Priestfield with what we deserved……Nothing!

Garrison Gate, But City Wake Too Late

CITY 0 - 0 Swansea City

Match Review and Ratings By Bristol Boy

For much of this season…….in fact, all of it, we’ve had our defence to thank for our lofty position. This game epitomised what has been good and bad about City this term and with our lacklustre strikers not firing, Carey & McCombe, supported by the redoubtable Orr & Keogh, saw us make another step, albeit a faltering one, towards the Championship.

Orr did we deserve to win?
Bristol City 1 v 1 Nottingham Forest
Match Review & Ratings By Bristol Boy

In a game that City deserved to win and with Smith much the busier keeper, City’s season long problem with finding enough quality in the final third and enough sharpness in our strikers to finish off our rivals, emerged to leave City in second place, a result we’d probably have all settled for at 3pm.

The empty look in their eyes.Their inability to deliver, even at high cost…..Anyway, enough about the outsourced catering contractors at Doncaster’s welcoming Keepmoat Stadium.

Deadline Decisivness Or Deadbeats?

There appears to be two schools of thought on this.

The first one seems to be that we need a striker. GJ must have agreed because he’s confirmed that he’s been looking for one. We also know that we were unsuccessful in two bids for major players earning decent money in Pospisil and Holt....
