The project

An oral history of general practice in Paisley, c. 1950-2000 was funded by the Wellcome Trust's history of medicine programme.

The series of articles

Evidence and findings from the project are currently being published by the Royal College of General Practitioners in the British Journal of General Practice. Versions of these articles will be published on this site each month from June 2002 until May 2003.
