Giulia Sciorati is an Associate Research Fellow at ISPI’s Asia Centre. An International Relations scholar, her research speaks to aesthetics and international politics, (visual) narratives and state images, and memory and heritage in diplomacy. Trained in Mandarin Chinese for over ten years, Dr Sciorati’s empirical research engages with the global politics of China, focusing on the country’s engagement with the Global South. She holds a PhD in International Studies from the School of International Studies of the University of Trento.
