Meet the system that turns every soldier into a sniper. SMASH is an electro-optic system that fits onto assault rifles and improves accuracy, dramatically improving the chance of hitting the target in all situations and circumstances. How does the system work? When in combat, each time a soldier pulls the trigger, the rifle only fires once the target appears between the crosshairs. The system doesn't fire of its own accord, but rather allows or holds fire depending on the situation in real-time. The system, developed by the start-up company SMARTSHOOTER, is directed and funded by the Israel Ministry of Defense's DDR&D (MAFAT) - Directorate of Defense Research & Development.
