    I thought that it could replace my laptop but, NOPE.... Lot's of online videos stating that it could but not for me. It's personal preference I guess.
    Having said that, this iPad Pro 10.5" is absolutely incredible! Soooooo darn fast and experienced zero hiccups prior to returning. Next time, I will have to try out the 12.9" iPad Pro. I like the bigger Realestate it offers.

    This is the 2nd iPad that I own, the first being the original mini. It's 3+ years I've had it and I still get approx 5hrs of solid use on a single charge. Decided to upgrade because I started a masters program and I need to take notes etc and the fact that the mini is missing a good portion of its screen due to countless falls even though it's still going strong. I expect the same quality that apple is known for. For those of you who own numerous apple products, set up was a breeze and compatibility across all devices is freakishly smooth. The only inkling of an issue that I have thus far is the size of the iPad as I'm used to the mini. Purchased the Ipen/ipencil? and note taking has never been easier. I can easily highlight/ make notes on my PDF files just I would do on a paper book. Even though I have big hands, typing is sometimes tiresome but I have my MacBook Air for serious writing. Shipping was easy as expected and it was packaged to survive the apocalypse. Excellent experience all round.

My only complaint is that I think Apple charges too much for more storage memory, but almost everything I do is online and I have wifi where I live and work, so no big deal.

    *Update 12/24/17 Purchased a rose gold/white bezel 10.5 model and all the problems in the one I had written my review about are not present this time around. Gorgeous tablet and the "ProMotion" feature is a pleasure to use.

    Very nice tablet overall. Feels well built, has great internal specs, truly mind blowing quad speakers, and the added screen real estate makes this new iPad feel much larger than it is.

    However, the main feature that is getting all the buzz, the 120hz refresh rate, is also one of the main reasons I am returning the tablet. Simply put, it made me feel nauseas each time I scrolled through a web page.

    Another issue for me was the poor QC for the display panel Apple is using. The black levels appeared quite milky on my unit when brightness was turned up. Another issue I noticed seems to be called "book spine effect." This is where the display area closest to the bezels of the device are darker than the center. This was most noticeable on solid white backgrounds and black screens, and the effect was distracting.

    I expected a lot more from Apple's latest and greatest iPad. It is a fine device to be sure, and if this was your first iPad, it would be a great media consumption device. But for me it doesn't cut it, so back it goes.

    My Ipad air 2 developed a hairline crack out of nowhere, and it was driving me nuts, so I figured it was time to upgrade. I know spec-wise this ipad blows even the ipad air 2 out of the water, but I really don't NOTICE huge performance increases. In other words, the Ipad air 2 was stilll running everything really smoothly. If it hadn't been for the hairline crack, I'd still be on the Air 2.

    I guess I am set for a few more years now with this Ipad Pro. I don't regret the purchase... the regular Ipads these days don't have the advanced screen technology that the Air 2 and Pros have. The laminated display. That is a must have for me.
