Good charger, perfect for weekend backpackers

The charger is small, lightweight, and is good to top off my Pixel 6a. It took my phone from 35% to 100%, so I bet it could do even a slight bit more. It's going to work for my use case. It weighs 0.226 lbs according to my postal scale which is perfect for backpacking and about 3 to 4 overnights. I was hoping I would get a little bit more charge out of it though. It says it's a 5000 mAh pack, but it really only gives 2650 mAh. That is almost half and so overall feels misleading to me. That being said, it's still perfect for my needs taking it backpacking as it is lightweight and eliminates the need for a charging cable too and is sized nicely. The pack gets slightly warm while charging and makes me think if Anker had a feature where I could enable slower charging so that some of that energy wouldn't unnecessarily be lost to heat should I so choose. The little power bank charges fast, and I do like that, but would like the option to do slow charging for a 4th or even 5th backpacking night where I really need to extend the power of my phone if needed. Despite it's flaws, it's still a very nice charger and I'm happy with it.

I purchased this to help my old cellphone's battery make it through a whole day again. It worked great the first few days. I loved that I could just leave it plugged in constantly and just treat it as an extension of my cellphone. I always found it annoying to have to put regular power banks in my pockets and deal with a long cords. I also liked the fact that this power bank could stay on the phone while I charged it.

Unfortunately, only about a week after purchasing this, I accidentally dropped my cellphone with the power bank on it. The attached USB-C port that plugs into my cellphone snapped, and now that port no longer works. Thankfully the charging port on this power bank also functions as a charging port, so the power bank is still useable. Sadly I am back to putting a power bank in my pocket again and using long charge cables coming out of my pockets again. Sigh... Bottom line - It's a great concept, but apparently it is not for clumsy people like me.

Update: Anker reached out and offered to provide a replacement power bank free of charge. Upgraded to 4 stars for their great customer service!

I've been using anker products for years. My fave portable battery and cables. I grabbed this one for a few reasons: 1) it's super small, like 2 tubes of lipstick small; 2) it does not require me to lug a cord around; 3) while charging, there's nothing long and heavy to dangle. I did buy this knowing that it's a smaller amount of juice, so I wouldn't get 1.5 charges the way I do with my other battery packs, BUT I'm sacrificing that for the 3 points I just listed above. I have the Samsing S24+ which holds a decent battery life to begin with, so I think for a day of traveling, this battery should be just the extra amount of juice I'd need. I will say, even tho it's not listed as an official "quick charge" it's sure fast charging and that works for me.

This is a handy battery pack to keep on hand for emergencies, not sure if it really has 5000mAh, sometimes I feel it doesn't really recharge my phone as much as I would think it has considering it has 3300mAh (Samsung S22). I also dislike the swivel design of the charging port, I don't find it's necessary as the plug doesn't really stick out much and it actually feels very floppy due to this when attached on the phone. I've had it fall off easily due to this a few times.

Nie polecam. Ładuje dużo mniej niż deklarowane 5000 mAh. Wiadomo że są straty ale liczyłem na więcej. Mój S21 liczący już wiele lat ładuje się jedynie do ok. 60%.
