Best Buy is also offering the fifth-generation 64GB iPod touch for $249.99, which is $50 off the standard retail price. The deal is available for all colors Best Buy has in stock, including Space Gray, Blue, Pink, Silver, and Yellow.

As for Apple accessories, Best Buy is selling the older Solo HD Drenched Beats by Dr. Dre headphones for $99.99, a discount of $70. The discount is available for black, white, and red models.

When Black Friday rolls around, Best Buy will offer some of the best deals available on Apple's newest product, the iPad Air 2. The retailer is planning to discount all iPad Air 2 models by $100, which drops the price of the entry-level 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad Air 2 to $399. Best Buy will also be discounting all iPad mini 3 models, dropping the price of the entry-level 16GB Wi-Fi only model to $324.99.

Actually, yours is far less "contributing" as a lot of people tend to avoid BB as much as possible and can easily relate, just saying.

You should go :) They price match all major online retailers

Tax kills any deal you can find at worstbuy even after a PM

I have nothing against BestBuy. But, it really is less convinient to go there when can have it delivered to my door through a click on my computer. There are things that I need to go to the store and look at, try on, feel, smell, etc. Electronic toys do not fall into this category. I research on-line and then purchase on-line. And frankly the tax issue doesn't make a big difference generally. The truth is, even with tax, you can find better deals on-line than in-store.

.... seemed like a valid comment to me. you don't even reference it lol.

Thank you, I was just going to ignore the comment, especially since it failed to reference. Really a fail comment all around. But thanks for sticking up for me.

Wow a second person sticking up for me. Thanks. The comment really was worthless and I had no plans to respond. But I appreciate your kindness.

In my opinion, its never a good idea to buy last year's tech. The planned obsolescence will catch up to you sooner.

Personally, I agree since I like the latest stuff and can tell the difference between current and previous gen models. But believe me, there are millions that wouldn't know the difference to save their life, so for them, it's a great way to save a few bux buying previous gen stuff.

Staples has it for $199!!! iPad Mini 2 Retina, AMAZING deal!

They also had the Air for $299, but that sold out quickly

To each his own. Apple in particular is good in keeping their older tech relevant with iOS updates. I bought iPad 3 the day it was released and was never tempted to upgrade it. I might with those incredible deals.

With the Phone, I keep with the latest and greatest, with iPad,,, ummm... too small of a change

Nice deal. But honestly, I don't remember the last time I was in a Best buy.

If there's some appliance I want, which I think I might have to return just in case it doesn't jive with me after using it... I go to Best Buy and buy it. They price match in any case. Nothing to lose if it's close enough.

Plus some of their open box stuff can be pretty sweet.

I agree on Best Buy. Their prices are so easy to beat elsewhere.

What's funny is there is a huge Costco in the same parking lot where our local Best Buy is located. Talk about getting the pants beaten off you by the really big box store.

Most of my purchases come from amazon, so tax is usually associated unless it is not sold in my state. I guess it depends on what I need. I am the type of person who "needs to now!", so if I can get it in store I will.

I say that as I look at my amazon history, and I have had a package delivered 5 out of 7 days a week for the last 6 months =/

Same here, but that's because I'm in Canada and we have FutureShop here, which in turn is owned by Best Buy.

Point I want to make is, if people only use brick&mortar stores for showrooming and then buy online then those stores will eventually shutter and employees loose their jobs. While it's great to buy known-good products online, returning items when something goes wrong is way easier at a physical service counter, then being on hold and paying return shipping charges.

Besides, nearly every store I know price matches with reputable online dealers if products are in stock.

And no one beats Costco's return policy, but their electronic products variety isn't anything like BB.
