A fix days after the fix. Sigh... people used to buy Apple products because they didn't want daily Windows updates with mandatory 3 times reboot.
is there any reasoning on why that is?You have to use iTunes if you already installed the first 12.1.2 update. I'm downloading it right now for my SE using iTunes.
Hey Apple, how about some information about what is in all these different builds?
Yeah, it is not. Except it constantly nags you every bloody time you are on Wi-Fi and plugged into a charger, because the damn update downloads itself!none of this is mandatory

All the negative press?I’ve been waiting on the auto update for this one having heard all the negative press. Glad I did.

Wait, what?!turn off auto update
That's likely not something that will play much of a role.I can just see Apple Support,
Customer: “I have an iPhone 7 with iOS 12.1.2 installed.”
Support: “Let me look this up… Which build of iOS 12.1.2 do you have?”
Customer: “What’s a build?”
It does confirm the current ceo should retire? Mr. Cook is not going anywhere. Apple is a much bigger company after antennagate, it would stand to reason there is more hubris. So now we're getting useless updates to allow Mr. Cook to play legal cat & mouse with Qualcomm. This along with the absurd response to the bent iPad debacle, hiding sales, etc. only confirms that Mr. Cook should consider retiring.
Then you have a very demanding phone.Wait, what?!
(Double checks the setting) Yup, it is still turned off, but the damn thing still downloads the OS update every time it is on Wi-Fi and plugged in to the charger.
How does that answer the original posters question though? That generic list could pretty much be applied to any software release, ever!
