Actually Apple moved the notch to the back of the iPhone so we have a full screen display.

I held onto my 6S plus for a long time before going iPhone 8 and want to tell you guys not to kid yourself about the 6S still being good. I mean it's good enough for the average person but someone who like Apple enough to post here owes themselves an upgrade.

This design makes me want to get an Xs but then I always feel that way when the new designs appear but they always grow on me eventually.

IPhone 6s does exactly what I need and that fast and reliable. No need to upgrade here. And the new design makes me wanna womit and no it didn’t grow on my since the day it got released. I loved Apple in the Jobs area for its design but those days are unfortunately gone. Again, I use my 6s until it quits it service forever and then maybe upgrade to an 8 until thy have a bigger design overhaul without those Micky Mouse ears.

Still waiting for Apple to make a new phone with a screen at least as good as my 401ppi LCD plus.

The only phone Apple ever made that I can't see the pixels at any distance.

I guess that technology has been lost as we slide into third world status and everyone keeps getting dumber and doesn't even know the difference.

I think my iPhone 6 died right before the XS Max was released last year. I had put money after paying off my 6 so I could buy a phone outright, but there are things I really don't like about new iPhones (funny enough, the notch isn't one of them).

Not going to be buying a new phone this year. If I can help it I won't be buying one for 4 or 5 years.

That's me. Had 6S+, went to 8+ when they offered $250 trade-in. I use the damn headphone dongle, but the phone is up-spec'd and still has TouchID, along with a new battery.

I hate riding the tail end of this stuff. Money isn't the issue; I'm happy to buy any of their new stuff - if it was better. I'm just not going to toss my money off for shiny. Maybe in my old age that's my wisdom.

I am holding out for a long while. Will only upgrade when iOS releases stop supporting my iPhone X. I have bigger expenses to think about in my life right now.

As will my 7. It will be fun once my upgrade happens though!

Coming from someone who uses a 7 Plus, bought the XS Max at launch, it's definitely an upgrade. But it wasn't enough of an upgrade for me to keep it. Especially since it seemed Apple cut some corners and for $1300, that was unacceptable.

Gonna see what the new one is like. Might even buy it, try it, and then return it. But next year's iPhone, especially with Qualcomm coming back, should be a worthy upgrade!

My XS is a fantastic phone, but I'm giving serious consideration to the XR on this next go round. I had major buyers remorse after seeing the XR after it was released. Much better bang for the buck IMO.

Anyone have any idea what we'll get with this cube of a camera bump compared to a line of cameras? i.e. is there some actual functional benefit to it?

Apple better really revamp the camera if they are going the huge bump route. Google and others have been outshining the iphone with less lenses and bumps.

Um have you seen the latest Pixel 4 Renders? (Google says hold my beer...)

Not a joke: https://9to5google.com/2019/06/10/google-pixel-4-early-leaks/

Sooooo....supposedly, all three new iPhones will have this new triple lens camera? Highly doubtful. o_O

No. If you saw the renders for the Xr (follow on) it has the cube shaped bump, but only has 2 cameras in it. i.e. even more unnecessary, but there's no escape from it apparently. In the renders for the Xr(follow on) the camera bump barely protrudes - they could have easily flushed everything up if they wanted to...

So someone agreed to mock up three cases based on rumors just so MR can make a video?
