they are def a much softer tone then I originally thought these would be, which is good. I dig the lime/yellow/ whatever that color is looking one.

What do they need to improve? I’m thinking of getting the red ones eventually. Lord help me but I’m actually working out again.
They have charging issues with earbuds not seating properly in the case, they would benefit from the inclusion of Transparency Mode (like the AirPods Pro), and the case is so comically large there is no real justification for it to not include wireless charging. Like others, I have found PBP to be the best workout earbuds but as is, I feel they are overpriced. They should be priced at $200. Fortunately, they seem to go on sale frequently enough for that price.
Edit: forgot to mention that it’s not uncommon for one of the buds to not connect, requiring both to be put back in the case to try again.

They don't look like a MacBook Pro 14"-16" mini led refresh ?

The wait continues ?

Yo, bro! Who watched that video, bro? That's lit, bro!

I'm no longer excited about technology releases. We've passed the point where things are new and exciting. Now it's all just ... normal. To be that excited about new colours.... it seems staged.

So I guess the case will be black and not match the earphones? I didn't catch it in the reading but if so not sure what to think.

Following a couple of leaks in recent weeks, Beats today is officially announcing four new colors for its Powerbeats Pro wireless earphones: Spring Yellow, Cloud Pink, Lava Red, and Glacier Blue. The new earphones will go on sale June 9 and sell for the same $249.95 price as the existing color options.

Aside from the colors, the new Powerbeats Pro models are otherwise identical to the original Powerbeats Pro, offering up to nine hours of listening time with the charging case bringing the total listening time to over 24 hours. A five-minute Fast Fuel charging feature gives you up to an hour and a half of playback time.

As with every other recent Beats and AirPods product, the Powerbeats Pro include Apple's H1 chip for easy pairing, seamless switching between devices via iCloud, and "Hey Siri" functionality.

Designed with a sports focus, Powerbeats Pro offer IPX4 sweat and water resistance, so you can use them in the gym without worry. You should avoid submerging them in water, although the original models stood up to splashes, brief submersion, and even more extended dunking in our testing.

Powerbeats Pro include on-ear volume and track controls on each earbud, and adjustable earhooks help secure the earphones during vigorous workouts. Four sizes of eartips are included to maximize comfort and provide a good seal in the ear, although the earphones don't offer any active noise cancellation.

The Powerbeats Pro charging case is considerably larger than the case for the AirPods or AirPods Pro, primarily due to the larger design of the earphones themselves. The case also charges solely through a Lightning port and does not charge wirelessly, though a Lightning to USB-A cable is included.

To celebrate the launch of the new Powerbeats Pro colors, Beats today used a drone to drop off the new earphones to members of FaZe Clan, the professional esports organization that is itself celebrating its tenth anniversary. As of last month, Beats co-founder Jimmy Iovine became a part owner of FaZe Clan, having led a $40 million fundraising round.

Am I the only one who has a problem with it NOT having wireless charging capabilities? I would buy these in an instant, but I don’t want to plug in to charge anymore.

Is there a reason Apple did an upgrade them to wireless charging?

So they aren't saying there are any other changes? My left Beats Pro woke up this morning dead. I've gotten so sick of the drama, I threw them across the room. (Oops) AND my BeatsX wouldn't stay connected either. Back to the BackBeats Fit, until their battery explodes (again).

Stupid nonworking junk. I am NOT holding them wrong!

“Is the bass overemphasized like the previous Powerbeats?”

Not particularly.

I have Audeze iSine 10 and LCD 2 and my speakers are ATC 40 Active. I bought the PBP for the gym and running, so wasn’t particularly fussed about forensic sound quality analysis. They’re fine, nothing particularly offensive about the sound.

My 1st gen airpods are on the way out with a battery life of about 45 minutes or less. I have Powerbeats 2 that have gotten a bit crappy over the years but are still soldiering on... though getting rid of the last of my micro USB devices wouldn't be a bad thing! So I'd earmarked Powerbeats to pick up when one or the other fails.

PBP are going on offer tomorrow here in China (direct from beats' tmall and JD stores) for the equivalent of a little over $140 (999 RMB). At that price, I'm struggling to say no.

They fit very well, and the sound is great, but the 'charging issue' is making them unusable. And this is the second pair I've had. The case could have been wider and thinner. Either way, the loops need clearance in the top somehow.
