If you've been looking for an iPad stand that can turn your iPad from a tablet to a desktop computing option, MacRumors videographer Dan Barbera has a recommendation for you. In his latest YouTube video, Dan checks out the MagFlott Magnetic iPad Stand from CharJenPro.

Priced at $129, the MagFlott is sturdy, attractive, and has tilt and rotate functions, so it's versatile and able to be positioned in landscape or portrait mode depending on your needs. It is sized for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the 11-inch iPad Pro, and the 10.9-inch iPad Air, and it comes in space gray and silver.

Make sure to watch the video up above to see it in action.

Too bad they don’t have one for iPad mini!
I would use it. Maybe if they make it one size fits all, even an iPhone, sometimes you when you are on hold you could use the stand. The price is not bad.

Too low for me. I use the Hoverbar Duo. Perfect height for video calls. It uses clamps though. I'd love if it had magnets.
Still... I'm choosing height over magnets.
Hard pass on the clamps. To much of a risk leaving impressions for longer durations.

While it’s not height adjustable, you still get two different heights for landscape due to the asymmetric position of the magnetic backplate.

This appears to be a decent alternative, at least at half price at ~$60.00. Reviews are actually 5/5, which is unusual for Amazon third party products.
Being so lightweight, the iPad mini isn’t that demanding regarding stability.

What I mean is that it’s easier to make a good stand for the mini than for the 11/12.9" Pro.
Right, I got that.

But my point was and still is, it depends on the materials and the overall construction that makes it possible to have a stand that sturdy enough without having wobble, janky materials/fitting, ect.

If it supported smart connector charging it would be an impulse buy. Still looks like a really good product, but I do most of my work where I’d need something like this on my laptop connected to a monitor, so it’s not really the product for me.

I 100% support this company. Nice little husband and wife business from the US.

Nice little story behind the product. The Founder is an avid Apple fan since the first iPod which he made a stand for. I thought that was really neat to read included in the box.

MagFlött itself is Apple-like quality.

Magnets are strong and rotating and tilting it a breeze.

The packaging is just like opening a MacBook Pro. Very Premium.

If you have and iPad Pro or air. Definitely the best stand I have used.
