We are actively working on enabling animated stickers on this repo. Code in Android and iOS were just added which allows you, developers, to start building your apps. WhatsApp users have not gotten ability to import animated stickers just yet. We want to ensure the integration is bug free, therefore, we have a roll out plan as follows:

1. You will get to sign up through here (https://forms.gle/nWvZiZ2FfYBotJyH9) if you want to enable your phone to be able to import animated stickers. At anytime, you can opt out (https://forms.gle/9rWttL9g9he9gWmq8) and we will delete your contact information. After you sign up, please expect 2 days for the changes to become effective.
2. We have just roll out to Brazil, Indonesia and Iran as of March 1st, 2021, if your app is ready, please publish to these countries only, as only users in these countries will have ability to import.
3. For rest of the world, We will communicate next steps through this wiki and emails as well.
